第一场
First scene
人物characters：德拉Della 吉姆 Jim
地点：吉姆公司楼下，百老汇橱窗旁
places downstair Jim's company,beside the show window of Broadway
旁白：哦~离圣诞节还有几天，街上已经飘起了鹅毛般的大雪，看，有位斑斓的姑娘来了，来会她的爱人。
aside:Wow,there are still several days before the Christmas,heavy sonw is falling on the street。Look,a beauty comes to meet her lover。
德拉：（寒战）就在那里等等吧，（转头，兴奋，巴望的放着橱窗里的那套梳子）啊，它还在那，仍是那么美，（摸摸本身的头发）那上面的珠宝太讨人喜好了，亮堂的就像是小鹿的眼睛。(shaking)Just wait here,(turn around,excitedly look at that set of combs in the show window with desire)
同时吉姆缓缓走下楼梯。
Jim walk downstairs slowly at the same time
吉姆：加班到那么晚，（幸福）斑斓的德拉还在等着我回家，而且还炖好了肉汤，
（急迫的走下楼梯，悄悄的看表）都几点了，不晓得还有没有巴士。
So late of your working overtime,(happy)My honey Dells is still waiting for me at home and she has finished the broth。
(walk downstairs in a hurry and take a look at his watch on the sly )。What's time,I wonder if there exists the buses。
旁白：哦~可怜的人儿，拥有金表却不敢给他人看见，只因那表带那么残缺，但他还拥有更斑斓仁慈的老婆，不晓得他老婆看到他困顿的脸色会想什么呢。
Oh。Poor soul,dare not to show the gold watch although he owns it for the broken watchband,however he owns more beautiful and kind-hearted wife,I wonder what his wife will think of him seeing his embarrassed expression。
德拉：（看到了吉姆偷偷看手表的一幕，目光深厚，举手高喊。）吉姆！
（快步走到吉姆身旁，面临吉姆惊讶的目光，担忧的说）老天，别怪我了，下那么大的雪，我不安心你一小我归去。（抬手理了理吉姆的领口，抬起吉姆的手，看了一下表带。
感喟）那表带都快断了，走吧，吉姆，家里已经煮好了肉汤，等着我们回家享用呢。
(seeing the scene that Jim looked at his watch on the sly,deep eyesight,shouting with hands up)Jim,
(hurry to Jim,facing Jim's surprised eyesight,say worriedly)My god,don't blame me,so heavy snow is and I am worried about your going alone。
(raising her hands to clean up Jim's neckline and lift Jim's hands,taking a look at the watchband。sigh )。The watchband is almost broken,go with me,Jim,the broth is done,let's enjoy it。
吉姆：（拥抱了德拉）恩，没事，那我们快走吧。
(hug Della)ok,nothing,let's go。
此时德拉挽上吉姆的手，吉姆撑着伞。大雪纷飞，在颠末橱窗的时候，吉姆刚想对德拉说些什么，却看到德拉在看别处，跟随着德拉的目光，他看到了橱窗里的那套斑斓的梳子。
At this moment,Della links Jim's arm and Jim put up the unbrella。It is snowing heavily,when they pass the show windouw,Jim wants to say something to Della but seeing Della looking at other places,follow Della's sight,he see the beautiful set of combs in the show window。
旁白：是的，是的，仁慈的人儿都看到了对方的巴望，安心吧，麦琪会带给你们最珍贵的礼品！不信？那我们接着看看吧。
Yeah,yeah,kind-hearted people have seen each other's desire,relax, McKee will bring the most precious gifts for both?Not believe it?Let's go on watching。
第二场
Second scene
人物：德拉，吉姆，商人Stanley，东家Aaron
地点：头发用品店，百老汇精品店
Hair-care store,boutique of Broadway
灯光打在德拉身上
德拉：（走进头发用品店，沉着，坚决的说）我卖头发！
(stepping into the hair-care store,calmly and unhesitatingly say)I am selling my hair。
Stanley：（冷冰冰）走上前来，摘掉帽子，让我看看发样。
(chillily)come up,put off your hat,let me have a look your hairstyle。
德拉：（伸手摘掉帽子）你看看吧，能值几钱。
(put off her hat)You see,how much should it worth。
旁白：其实是太美了！像银河一样闪亮顺滑的秀发！那足以让每个女人疯狂的吃醋！为什么要剪掉呢？我不懂。
So beautiful! Just like the bright smooth hair。Thus is enough for women's crazy jealousy。Why not keep it。
I wonder。
Stanley：（惊讶，手指绕上一圈头发滑下）你确定你不懊悔吗？若是你愿意，我愿用20美圆的高价买下那头秀发。
(surprised,finger slips with a round of hair)Are you sure to cut it?If you are sure,I will pay you twenty dollars for your hair。
德拉：（最初抚摸了一下头发，意志坚决）是的，快剪吧。
(touch her hair at last,steadily)Yes,hurry up。
灯光打到吉姆身上，走进百老汇橱窗店。
light on Jim,stepping into the show window of Broadway。
吉姆：（诚恳，急迫）先生，您那儿收买手表吗？
(hearty and in a hurry)Sir,do you collect watches?
Aaron：（瞟了他一眼，继续用放大镜查看珠宝）是的，但只收买有价值的银表，金表。
(glancing at him,go on check the jewelry with magnifying glass )I do,but just worth silver watch and gold watch。
吉姆：（快乐的，冲动的）是的，就是一块金表，是我的家传之宝，你看看吧，很不错的。
(delighted,excited)Yes,it's the gold watch,my treasure。Look at it,it's nice。
Aaron惊讶的细细察看着金表，咳嗽了几声。
Surprisely watch the gold match with several coughs。
旁白：哦~那个先生为什么要卖了那个比得上所罗门王所有的宝贝的金表呢，太奇异了。
Oh,the man is so strange that he sells the gold watch which can match all the treasures of Bathsheba。
Aaron：（故做沉着）开个价吧，先生。
(pretend to be calm)name a price,sir。
吉姆：（哀告）不先生，我不换钱，我能与你交换橱窗里的那套发梳吗？我的太太有一头斑斓的秀发，只要那套发梳能配得上她。我希望她能拥有它。
让她过个美妙的圣诞节，那是我更大的愿望！
(beg)No,sir,I don't want money,can I exchange the combs in the show window with my watch?My wife owns beautiful hair and only that combs can match her。
I hope that she can own them and let her have a wonderful Christmas,Thus are my best wishes。
Aaron目瞪口呆

旁白：我大白了，是那位斑斓的老婆，多么恩爱的夫妻啊，他们太幸福了，他们的爱让天上的星星都黯然失色啊！
I see,it is the beautiful wife,how devoted they are,they are so happy,their love make all the stars in the sky outshone。
Aaron：（故做沉着）既然你那么说，那好吧，把发梳拿去，把金表留下。
(pretend to be calm)As you say so,ok,take away the combs and leave your gold watch here。
吉姆：（兴奋的，冲动的）哦~太感激你了先生，（捧着发梳，转身分开）
(excited)Oh,thank you so much sir。(turn aroud and leave with the combs in his hands。
灯光暗下，
light stop shining
旁白：那两个斑斓的人啊，为了对方的密意放弃了本身珍贵的宝贝。还有什么比那更美妙的？那就是麦琪的礼品。
How beautiful they are,giving up their own treasures for their deep love to each other,is there anything better than thus?This is THE GIFT OF THE MAGI。
