馆躲中国：维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆躲斯坦因窃取的丝路文物

维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆收躲了70多件陶瓷碎片和释教雕塑碎片，以及斯坦因（1862-1943）在第二次远征中亚（1906-8年）期间发现的约600件古代和中世纪纺织品，他再次拜候并发掘了南部丝绸之路上的遗址，然后向东前去敦煌。在敦煌，他研究并发掘了该镇北部的汉代看塔，以及东南部的莫高窟寺庙，在那里他从躲书洞窃取了敦煌文物。从那里，他陆续前去北方丝绸之路，他在塔克拉玛干戈壁停止了一次求助紧急的南北穿越，以赶往于阗，在那里发掘了更多的古代遗址，然后在昆仑山完成了探险。
