馆躲中国:维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆躲斯坦因窃取的丝路文物
维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆收躲了70多件陶瓷碎片和释教雕塑碎片,以及斯坦因(1862-1943)在第二次远征中亚(1906-8年)期间发现的约600件古代和中世纪纺织品,他再次拜候并发掘了南部丝绸之路上的遗址,然后向东前去敦煌。在敦煌,他研究并发掘了该镇北部的汉代看塔,以及东南部的莫高窟寺庙,在那里他从躲书洞窃取了敦煌文物。从那里,他陆续前去北方丝绸之路,他在塔克拉玛干戈壁停止了一次求助紧急的南北穿越,以赶往于阗,在那里发掘了更多的古代遗址,然后在昆仑山完成了探险。
